Ball Gown with Headpiece

Fabric and Description: The gown is two pieces. The top portion is a steel boned corset with the authentic busk type closure. It is made of lace overlaid on cotton and lined with smooth sateen. It is decorated with lace, pearls, tulle and chiffon bows. The skirt is made of organza and has a hooped petticoat that provides a lightweight structure creating volume and fluid movement of the skirt. Headpiece cap is of tulle with feather wing decoration accented with a vintage chiffon and pearl trimmed stylized flower. The robe is made of a variety of patterned laces. It has a chiffon collar and floor length lapel, with flounced sleeves accented with vintage lace and tulle elbow bows. The body of the garment is pleated, with a large chiffon bow in back. Bottom edge has a band of decorative pattern lace.
