Purchase Procedure & Return Policy
for Ready to Wear Merchandise

All inquiries will be answered by me, Charmaine, personally. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need help with ordering. If you live near or will be traveling to the Albuquerque area and would like a personal consultation to try on merchandise, please contact me to schedule an appointment.

To purchase any of the ready to wear merchandise displayed on this site, you must submit an order form and payment in full, including shipping and handling and any applicable tax (see chart toward the bottom of page). Payment must be made in the form of a check or money order made payable to Charmaine G. Brown. (Sorry, no personal checks will be accepted on orders from outside of the United States, and I do not currently accept credit cards or PayPal payments.)

Prior to submitting an order, please check your measurements against the Corset and Cloak Size Chart, as Corset and Cloak sizes will differ from department store sizes.

To submit an order:

1. Print order form web page.
2. Fill out all requested information. I respect your privacy. Your personal contact information will be used by Corset and Cloak to complete and ship your order and to notify you of receipt of order and the shipment date. Your personal contact information will never be sold, traded or given to a third party. (You may opt to join the Corset and Cloak mailing list, but this is not necessary in order to make a purchase.)
3. If you are submitting an order from outside the 48 contiguous states of the United States, either from another country or from Alaska or Hawaii, you must contact me to find out exact shipping fees (the fees in the chart at the bottom of page do not apply). Fees will be specific to the contents of your order and location.

You will receive notification of receipt of order once your order has been received. You will receive notification of shipping once your payment has cleared at the bank (for personal checks, this can take up to 10 days). All merchandise is insured and shipped with UPS. Merchandise, generally, arrives within 2–4 weeks of notification of receipt of order, it may take longer to ship merchandise outside of the United States.

When you receive your merchandise, please open carefully and save the packaging in case you need to return any of the merchandise. Be sure to check your merchandise against the copy of your order form that you will find enclosed with merchandise. If you find that an error has been made with your order, please contact me as soon as possible so that I can rectify the situation.

I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are unhappy with your merchandise, but no error was made with the order, you may still return the merchandise for a refund so long as merchandise is received within 30 days of delivery date. Merchandise must be returned in unused and unworn condition.

If you return merchandise within 10 business days from the delivery of the merchandise, you will be issued a full refund of the price of the merchandise plus any tax, however, you are still responsible for shipping and handling fees. If merchandise is received after 10 business days but within 30 days of the delivery date, you will receive a partial refund of 75 percent of the price of the merchandise plus 75 percent of any tax, again, however, you are still responsible for shipping and handling fees. No refunds will be issued after 30 days from the date of delivery. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please feel free to contact me.
